Summary of Duties

Classifies and catalogs sheet music, scores, and arrangements. Coordinates the ordering and delivery of ensemble music. Oversees the distribution of sheet music before and during rehearsals. Oversees music returns, late fees, and the replacement of missing or damaged sheet music. Maintains instrument inventory and coordinates instrument repairs and replacements.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate’s degree in a related field of study OR a combination of education and experience related to the Summary of Duties totaling 2 years.

Preferred Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in music.

Preferred qualifications include experience in cataloging and music ensemble operations.

Knowledge

Knowledge of all musical instrument types.
