Job Description

Rider University’s Talbott Library seeks a Library Technical Assistant to assist in the operation of circulation to ensure the needs of all the patrons are met. This position encompasses night and weekend supervisory duties of the library and the student workers. Individual will: provide inter-library loan and book repair services; check in periodicals and send periodicals out for commercial binding; and oversees training and processing of performance collection materials, machine maintenance, and other duties as assigned. 

Rider University has identified Kaiwen Education as the entity who will own and operate Westminster Choir College effective no later than July 1, 2019. Upon this transition, employment with Rider will terminate and the continuance of the position will be at the discretion of this entity.

Qualified candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree along with knowledge/background in music. Additional skills include moderate to comprehensive computer skills along with attention to detail and good organizational and communication skills. A flexible schedule is required.
