Position Type: Technical/Paraprofessional  

Department:University Libraries, Liaison Services  

Purpose: This position specifically supports the mission of the university by overseeing circulation services, managing and training the Library’s student workforce, and providing reference and research services.  

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree  

Field of Study: Music or Art  

Minimum Experience: Less than 1 year of relevant work  

Minimum Certifications:

Strong organizational skills, attentive to detail and accuracy, ability to read music beyond an elementary level, effective written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team setting, proficient with personal computing.

Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Experience: 2 years of relevant work  

Preferred Certifications: Supervisory experience, work experience in libraries and/or customer service, strong library research skills, creative, flexible, forward-thinking, self-motivated.  

Part time/Full time: Full time  

Hours per week: 40  

Work Hours: Business hours; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m, Monday through Friday  

Pay Rate: $16.15 per hour base
