Job Description

A distinguished faculty of international artists and outstanding students from the United States and around the world present concerts in a picturesque setting on Florida’s West Coast.

The Sarasota Music Festival is an intense three-week experience of chamber music, master classes, and orchestra concerts, with the coaching and performance of chamber music as its focus. Each week the library participant will have a video coaching with a selected adjunct library coach; will work closely with library faculty; and be responsible for many of the chamber and orchestral music needs of the festival.

The library program includes three weeks (May 27 – June 22, 2015) of experience working rehearsals and concerts in a multi-faceted performance library, as well as a three day intensive of classroom and hands-on workshops covering topics such as: repertoire, bookbinding, transpositions, digital part manipulation, music engraving software, databases, copyright and research.
