The Placement Service assists individuals seeking employment in music librarianship. To this end, the Placement Officer lists positions available in academic, public, performing arts, orchestra, conservatory, media, and radio libraries.

how to post an announcement
To have a vacancy listed, contact Sara D. Outhier, MLA Placement Officer with the published announcement.
The Placement Officer will generally post new advertisements within 48 hours of notification, excluding holidays and weekends, to the Placement Service, the Music Library Association’s Twitter feed, and the MLA’s listserv.
