List of Previous Goals and Progress Made

  1. To apply for grants for programs that increase outreach efforts for underrepresented communities and provide programs for which librarians (both professionally credentialed and non-professionally credentialed or whose titles indicate such status) can participate and develop without travel to the national meeting. This was accomplished this year by securing a grant from MLA to bring Alice Carli (Sibley Music Library/Eastman School of Music) down to the 2019 meeting in College Park, Maryland to teach a score preservation workshop and present on preservation decision making.
  2. To facilitate travel to the national meeting by offering travel assistance grants.  We awarded this grant to Zachary Tumlin.
